On a daily basis, the BID's in-house sanitation crew is out in the district. Rain or shine, they are out there sweeping our sidewalks and removing unsighlty posters and placards and they deserve a strong pat on the back for their work this year in the district.

During 2009, our in-house sanitation crew swepts, collected and bagged over 10,000 - 65 gallon bags of loose debris from the sidewalks of our 29 block face district. To put that in terms of approximate weight, each bag, when filled weighs approximately 24 punds equalling 240,000 pounds of loose debris. That translates to over 95 tons of loose debris removed from the sidewalks and streets of our community. Great Job Guys!
