Welcome to Pride of the Heights!
The Washington Heights BID is located in Upper Manhattan and was established in 1986 to support the 255 commercial storefronts in a 29 block-face commercial district along 181st Street from Amsterdam Avenue to Fort Washington Avenue and surrounding blocks on St. Nicholas and Broadway. The BID serves a diverse mixed-use community with a bustling retail corridor and large residential population. The BID is responsible for providing supplementary sanitation services and working with City agencies, elected officials, business, and property owners to enhance the commercial district.
